I’ve been following this social media case and it was recently settled by the NLRB against the employer who fired an employee over her Facebook rant about them. While the ruling is not carte blanche to rip your employer online, the article said it best…”the case will have employers around the country re-examining their Internet policies.” These are the kind of precedence setting cases that are going to shape corporations human resource and social media policies.
